These NFL Teams Have The Best Super Bowl Odds This Season

Smell that? It’s the scent of broken-in cleats, freshly mewed grass, manicured astro turf, sweat and Gatorade all rolled into one. That can mean only one thing: Another NFL season is about to get underway

A great many months now separate us from the Philadelphia Eagles taking down the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. The 2025 NFL draft is in the rear-view mirror. The dust has settled on free agency. Trades could still happen as teams ready themselves for the start of training camp, but for the most part, all the league’s major business is done.

That makes it a great time to peruse Super Bowl LX betting odds to see which teams have the best chance of winning it all at the conclusion of the 2025 season. There is no shortage of betting lines from which to choose, either. Some sportsbooks hold off on opening the NFL futures market until the training camp is on the horizon (as it is at this writing). The sites that offer them all year round, meanwhile, are prone to changing them early in the process. But right now is a different story. Super Bowl 2026 betting lines are relatively steady, and should remain that way for a while. Finding the right ones is basically a matter of reading up on the best bookmaker reviews and spotting the 2026 Super Bowl betting market that’s most intriguing for you.

Still, our initial question remains: After plenty of years at the top of the NFL’s Super Bowl betting market, will the Kansas City Chiefs retain their preseason wagering throne? Or has another team usurped them for that honor? Let’s go ahead and find out.

Baltimore Ravens (+650)

Well, here’s the answer to our question of whether the Chiefs are still odds-on favorites. They’re not. This crown now belongs to the Baltimore Ravens. And look, it isn’t hard to see why.

Any offense piloted by quarterback Lamar Jackson, the 2023 NFL MVP, is liable to go bonkers. Baltimore shored up its tackle spots by retaining key talent, including left tackle Ronnie Staley, ensuring that Jackson should still have plenty of time and space to operate in (and out) of the pocket. The Ravens also added DeAndre Hopkins to their wide-receiving core. He is not the megastar he was in years past, but his size and length gives Jackson a massive target who can pay dividends in the red zone.

Buffalo Bills (+700)

Talent retention was the prevailing theme of the Buffalo Bills’ offseason, which featured extensions for key players like reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen and wide receiver Khalil Shakir. This unit ranked second in points scored per game last season and is well positioned to contend for the league’s top spot once again.

Questions remain on the defensive side of the ball, particularly inside the front seven. Buffalo rolled the dice on talented but injury-prone or presently suspended free agents on the defensive line. It isn’t clear whether they have the depth to weather extended absences. With that said, the Bills defense could wind up bringing a terrifying amount of pressure from the front seven during the latter half of the regular season.

Whether this is all enough to slot them as the second-most likely Super Bowl winner remains debatable. There is a lower floor here than many think. At the same time, the ceiling is also potentially boundless.

Philadelphia Eagles (+750)

Barring an absolute teardown, the reigning Super Bowl champs always get the benefit of the doubt on the list of next season’s contenders. The Philadelphia Eagles are no exception.

And yet, we can’t help but wonder whether they deserve to be higher—at least second overall. The NFC is inherently easier than the AFC, making it more likely the Eagles come out of their conference. That should be worth a major bump on its own.

Beyond that, Philadelphia did a nice job retaining a lion’s share of the talent from their NFL-wrecking, championship-spearheading defense last season. If they win fewer than 12 games, assuming good health, we will be legitimately shocked.

More than anything, a third-place finish feels like a nod to the combustibility of the offense. In particular, as ESPN’s Seth Walder notes, the extension for running back Saquon Barkley could come back to bite them given his injury history.

Kansas City Chiefs (+850)

This is the Kansas City Chiefs’ lowest finish on the preseason Super Bowl odds ladder basically since Patrick Mahomes took over QB1 duties. That is absurd on its face. But it actually makes sense.

To be sure: Mahomes is still Mahomes. He could easily win MVP next season. But the frontline was shaky en route to their Super Bowl loss last February. And it is not necessarily any better.

Kansas City traded standout lineman Joe Thurney for a fourth-round draft pick, and their biggest addition to the line was Jaylon Moore—who was most recently a backup for the San Francisco 49ers.

Mahomes will cobble together a fairly elite offense anyway. Even so, the pass protection and run-blocking in front of him is far from ideal. That isn’t quite enough to yank the Chiefs outside the top five, but following three straight trips to the Super Bowl, this team feels both more fragile and fallible than in recent memory.

Detroit Lions (+1100)

Need any more evidence that perception of the Detroit Lions? Well, here you go.

Detroit has won a combined 27 regular-season games over the past two seasons but has failed to make it out of the divisional round of the playoffs during that time. Getting over the hump won’t be any easier for them this year.

Granted, the NFC isn’t that terrifying when looking at the rest of the field. But the Lions keep losing important coordinators to head coaching gigs. Though they upgraded the secondary with the addition of cornerback D.J. Reed, they made a couple of reaches in the early rounds of the draft for guys who may not be ready to contribute on a regular basis for another year or so.

Perhaps Detroit is simply already good enough to win it all. If we are being honest, however, this placement feels like the Lions are benefiting from an uninspiring NFC landscape rather than receiving due credit for the roster.
